All-Ireland Handball
Congratulations to Luke Barrett and Donal Jones who recently competed in the U15 All-Ireland Handball tournament. Luke and Donal had a good win in their semi-final over the Tyrone representatives, but lost out to Kilkenny in the final. Well done to both boys.
Convent Primary School Activities
Transition Year Students have hosted girls from the Kanturk Convent National School over recent weeks, for games and activities, in the Scoil Mhuire gym. Co-ordinated by Mr. Canty the transition year class has gained valuable experience in organising and running the events, while primary students have enjoyed the escape from the classroom and mixing with older students. It is hoped to continue this initiative after Christmas.

GAA Blitz organised by TY students + winners
TY Life Saving at Mallow Swimming Pool
Learnstorm in association with Khan Academy. Students from first, second, TY and fifth year worked for 9 weeks on Khan Academy to develop maths skills and knowledge. 8 students qualified for an event in CIT on 23rd April.
LC v 5th year soccer match. LC won 4-2 with two late goals. Scorers LC: Cormac Cotter, Liam O’Brien, Diego O’Sullivan, Maria McSweeney 5th year: Christy Halihan, Christopher Mullane.
