Wellbeing is an integral part of our school community, encompassing the physical, emotional, and mental health of students and staff alike. At Scoil Mhuire, we prioritise creating a supportive and nurturing environment where everyone feels valued and cared for.
We support our students in a holistic way through wellbeing, personal and academic development.
Each year, Scoil Mhuire celebrates Wellbeing Week, a time to focus on the health and wellbeing of our school community. During this week, we invite guest speakers to share their insights on various aspects of wellbeing, from mental health to nutrition and physical activity. Students and staff come together to participate in group walks, enjoying the benefits of fresh air and exercise while connecting with one another. Additionally, tea and chats provide opportunities for conversations and support networks to flourish, fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie.
